I thought it was all finally over. I thought that locking the vile monstrosity inside the escape pod and sending it to the mercy of deep space would be the end of it, but I was wrong.

The escape pod was still sending signals, showing signs of activity. It was still alive, its monstrous tentacles frantically writhing inside its asphyxiating metal prison, looking for an escape. The lack of oxygen and nutrition had no effect on it.

I altered the spaceship's course to stalk the escape pod. I had a new mission now. After it butchered my entire crew, leaving me as the only survivor, I had to make sure that it would be eliminated, for good.

Who knows what could happen if it landed on another planet ripe with life? I cannot bear the responsibility of such a calamity.

After months following this altered course, I received a final communication from the escape pod. It had a crashed on an uncharted sector of this solar system. With no further information, I landed on this unknown planet. I won't stop until it's dead.
